The Airport Warning News site was created in support of the publication of the book 'Airport Warnings: An Airport Policeman Speaks.' From the unique perspective of a veteran airport law enforcement officer, the book provides an in-depth analysis of airport security of my mine and other airport security official’s involvement in aviation security events. Many of the security events in the book were first revealed to the public through this media and this site was created to document similar news stories and insight into the aviation industry’s challenges in providing passenger safety. 

My research of more than 21 airports and their police agencies accumulated in an extensive airport comparison security analyses on the issues facing our nation’s airports. Coupled with many other sanctioned airport security studies I completed, I am able to provide an honest evaluation of the dangers facing our passenger aviation transportation industry. These opinions are based on mine, as well as my fellow airport law enforcement officers’ experiences in airports throughout the nation. My accounts describe my airport problems that I dealt with that ranged from terrorists suspects, drug-addicted employees, airport thieves, ineffective and often dangerous TSA policies, airport administrators incompetence, weak airport perimeters and a host of other problems that affect millions of airline passengers in the United States. More importantly, Warnings to America’s Airports book and this website provides recommendations for improving our airports’ security. 

Many of the news stories you read about on this aviation news site were foretold and warn of in the publication. This news site eight years of accumulated data is a continuation of the book efforts to change airport security policy failures and will continue to do so in the years to come.
