The Airport Warning News website was established to support the release of the book 'Airport Warnings: An Airport Policeman Speaks.' Offering a unique viewpoint from a seasoned airport law enforcement officer, the book delivers a comprehensive examination of airport security, highlighting my involvement and that of other airport security officials in aviation security incidents.

My research, encompassing over twenty-one airports and their respective police agencies, has culminated in a thorough comparative analysis of airport security issues confronting our nation's airports. In conjunction with various other authorized airport security studies I have conducted, I offer an objective assessment of the threats facing our passenger aviation transportation sector. 

These insights are derived from my own experiences, as well as those of my fellow airport law enforcement officers across the country. My narratives detail the airport-related challenges I encountered, which included terrorist suspects, illegal drug-dependent employees, airport theft, ineffective and often hazardous TSA policies, administrative incompetence, vulnerable airport perimeters, and numerous other issues impacting millions of airline passengers in the United States. More significantly, the book 'Warnings to America’s Airports' and this website present recommendations aimed at enhancing the security of our airports.

Many of the news incidents featured on this aviation news site were predicted in the book Airport Warnings. This news site, with eight years of accumulated data, serves as a continuation of the book's efforts to address failures in airport security policy and will persist in this mission in the years ahead.
